Forestburg Scout Reservation offers over 1200 acres of woodlands, streams, trails and a lake located in New York State between Port Jervis and Monticello. Enjoy over 20 miles of hiking trails. Whether you are just taking a walk or want to perfect your skills on our 50 point orienteering course, this is the place to be. Don’t forget to stop by Darlington Falls, our beautiful 90 foot cascading waterfall.

Year round activities include, Rifle/Shotgun/BB Range, Archery Range, Canoes/Row Boats, Orienteering Course, Rock Climbing and Climbing Tower. /

Summer camp 2017

Start planning your troop's summer camp program. Whether it's the buckskin camper program for first year scouts, the traditional merit badge program or a week of high adventure in our outback program FSR can meet the needs of all age Scouts.

Kick off Meeting December 7th

The kickoff meeting for Forestburg 2017 will be held at the Monmouth Council Service Center on Wednesday December 7, 2016 and will start at 7:00 pm. For those of you that are not currently signed up to join us for summer camp in 2017, please attend the kickoff so you can what FSR offers. This meeting gives us the opportunity to tell you about our programs, and for returning Troops our new programs. We will also be reviewing all necessary paperwork and deadline dates as well as pricing. We will be handing out the 2017 Forestburg Scout Reservation Summer Camp Leader's Guide. We will be reviewing the online signup system that will need to be utilized for the 2017 season.
